I ordered an iPhone 12 on Sunday evening and received a.message to call Back Market on the Monday afternoon. They advised that the colour I had ordered (purple) wasn’t available, however it could come in that evening. I was given the option to wait until the next day upon which they called back to advise I could choose a different colour or receive a full refund. I chose another colour and it arrived the next day via express post. A bit disappointed that the colour I originally ordered was not available, however fantastic customer service by Back Market. The phone condition was excellent with battery at 100% capacity. Screen in as new condition and also the casing had no visible marks. Would definitely order from Back Market again in the future.

The phone came quickly and is in a great condition. I'm an Android user and I only bought it to control my kids Apple Watch so it is switched off most of the time and therefore I can't comment on battery life or general performance. Battery at 100% health, which was unexpected. A few minor nicks around the camera that had chipped the paint, but no damage to the lenses and no other marks or noticeable wear and tear. So awesome on that front. The only issue was that there was gunk that had built up over previous use in the gaps around the on-off and volume buttons, and a little bit in the speakers. Had to use a toothpick to scrape it all out. The kind of thing I would expect to be taken care of in the refurbishment process.

The phone looks great and appears to work ok - only problem is it's described as unlocked, but it is actually locked and I can't set it up. Unfortunately when I go through troubleshooting on the website, my only option appears to be to get it repaired or get a refund - unless I'm missing something, there's no option to speak to anyone who might be able to resolve the issue without having to send it back.
