I rarely leave reviews, but this one deserves it. Upgraded from a 2013 MacBook Pro and… wow. This 16-inch M1 Pro feels like I went from a loyal old tractor to a silent luxury spaceship. Everything is instant — apps open immediately, multitasking is effortless, and it stays cool and quiet even when I’m doing heavier stuff. Condition was excellent (honestly looks and feels near-new), and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The screen is gorgeous, the keyboard feels great, and the performance jump from 2013 is genuinely night and day. If you’re on an older Mac and wondering if the upgrade is worth it: yes. This thing is a beast, and I’m annoyed I didn’t do it sooner.

The MacBook is in excellent condition, no scratches etc. The Cord is in okay condition not excellent. there is a minor flaw in the MacBook that if you press the sides beside the track pad it makes clicking noises. that's fine, however I was quite disappointed when I open the device to find an excessive amount of crumbs on and within the keyboard. gunk was squished in some of the keys and they were left extremely greasy... there is still a noticeable amount of crumbs within the keyboard, under the keys. in no way does this make the computer unusable and I don't have an intent on returning it I just wanted to make you aware of the state of the computer when it arrived so this doesn't happen to someone else. these computers are advertised as refurbished. That being said I would've thought someone would have had a look at the device prior to it being sent. maybe this is an issue for the supplier and not the company and the company should really consider reevaluating their relationship with said supplier. I know this is a second hand laptop don't get me wrong. I just would not expect food within the device when it was of a high value purchase.

Thy judgement? Good Lord, an English speaker. The Dell Latitude: Replaced a rather ancient Acer Laptop, also refurbished but not done well. I purchased the ‘fair condition’ version of the 2017 MacBook Pro last week and was so incredibly happy with the product I received! Despite the minor and hardly noticeable signs of use, the laptop looks, feels and operates like it’s practically new. Additionally, the quality of service and updates from the back market team was also very helpful and helped put my mind at ease. I find it very hard to source a reliable and efficient second hand technology store without feeling some sense of dread, but back market definitely rose to the challenge and surpassed my expectations. It also arrived earlier than anticipated - so a definite plus. Will definitely be coming back here again in the future.

It’s working well. Had to reconfigure (?) the Touch Bar when I first got it to check it was a genuine part so I guess that was the refurbished bit.. It went OK, but I did have one day when the Touch Bar wouldn’t display until I did a restart , so that was weird, but other than that, so far so good.

This is the third supposedly refurbished MacBook Pro 2019 that has been sent to me in the last 6 months here in Australia and all have had an issue which has forced me to return for either repairs or refund. Not sure they are actually refurbishing these computers or just passing them along. This is so opposite to what I've experienced from Back Market in the US. Very disappointed to date for having spent so much time and money trying to get a working computer. First one had a faulty keyboard, second one had a malfunctioning bass speaker and third one overheats when shut down and connected to a charger. In process now of returning for repair or refund this latest one. So sorry to have to give a less than satisfactory review.
