Phone arrived promptly, great service, being a refurnished phone I was quite impressed, could not find any scratches or dings, it looked brand new, battery life 100% very happy, would highly recommend Backmarket for a refurbished phone.

First time purchasing a refurbished phone. The condition of the screen and camera were great, pretty much pristine. However, on the second day when I picked up the phone I could see the back cover was loose on one side. When I looked closer the whole back was about to come off.

Great device. Bought for a family member. Works well only a couple of scratches and a couple of issues with the sensitivity of some of the buttons on screen. They love it and the camera is excellent.

With photo uploads: Received it. Works as intended. However before fully utilising the device I checked all for scratch marks (with the help of a flash light). There weren't any on the screen nor the back of the phone, however upon closer inspection of the phone there were not overly visible scratches on the sides of the phone (very very very very very minimal). One scratch I did manage to notice was on the middle lense after shining a light on it. It's a small scratch but for a camera lense I'm very strict about it even if it's the tiniest scratch. Inspection of the S-Pen, it's practically unused, but the casing of the pen where you insert it seems to have a bit of dirt build-up or rust? Don't know if that's applicable. Overall, I gave it a 4 of 5 due to there being even the tiniest scratch on the middle camera lense along with there being dirt/rust(?) build up in the container of the S-Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra sits at the top of Samsung’s smartphone lineup, bringing pro-level tools to everyday users. Released in February 2023, it’s only one generation old as of 2025, which means most of its hardware is still very much in the “cutting edge” club. Key highlights include its large display, distinctively integrated S Pen, and a camera system that raises the bar for mobile zoom and detail.
Key features:The Galaxy S23 Ultra is made for multitaskers, productivity pros, and anyone who needs a big screen for creative work or detailed viewing. If you’ve outgrown “good enough” smartphone cameras, the S23 Ultra’s quartet of lenses, especially that 200MP main sensor, lets you get closer or see more without a lot of extra gear. Compared to the S24 Ultra, you’re not missing much in terms of day-to-day use, but you’ll save yourself the shiny-new-tax – and the S23 Ultra still outclasses most other Android phones on the market. If you just want a basic, pocketable phone, this probably isn’t your match.
Pros & Cons:| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| High-resolution 200MP camera for detailed photos. | Large and heavy—not for small hands or tight pockets. |
| Integrated S Pen for precise input and productivity features. | Pricey repairs if dropped—gargantuan screens tend to crack rather than bounce. |
| Smooth 120Hz display makes gaming and scrolling feel fluid. | No microSD slot—cloud storage fans won’t mind, but file hoarders might. |
| Top-tier performance from its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. | Overkill for casual users—if you just check email, the Ultra is probably Ultra-unnecessary. |
Choosing a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra means less e-waste and one less device destined for the landfill. At Back Market, every pre-owned device goes through rigorous testing to ensure it’s up to our standards—no shortcuts. If you want to see what that means, read about our quality standards here.
