The device condition before purchase was listed as C grade, and the battery health was stated as 80-90%, but the actual device's battery health was almost in the 90s. Although there was some paint peeling on the sides due to minor drops or friction, there were no issues with its operation, and it was comfortable to use, truly feeling like a newly refurbished product. Furthermore, since there are no unnecessary apps or functionalities from different manufacturers or vendors, nor varying performance differences between different numbered models, there's a sense of security that the user experience remains completely consistent even if you purchase devices from different numbered series. The Google Pixel series, as officially announced by Google, comes with a 7-year guarantee for OS and security updates from its release year, which further adds to the sense of reliability.

I bought an A grade. There were no scratches at all and the battery level was 100%. It looks as if it has never been used.

I always use Back Market. This is my first time buying an Android smartphone, but so far I'm satisfied because there are no problems with the product and it's working well. The shipping was also fast, and it arrived the next day. I'm always satisfied with the fast shipping.

There were indeed scratches that were likely caused by dropping it, which made me think it was a C-grade item. However, the other parts were so clean, and the scratched areas wouldn't bother me if I used a cover, so considering the battery condition, it's almost like new to me. This price is a great help. Thank you!

This was my first time using BackMarket. I had a feeling that a "B-grade" product would have some scratches, but even after checking the item I received, I couldn't find any. For someone with presbyopia like me, it was just like new. Thanks to this, I was able to buy a good product at a low price. I would definitely like to buy from them again.

The Google Pixel 9 brings Google’s classic clean software experience and reliable imaging hardware to its 2024 flagship. As the latest Pixel generation (as of 2025), it’s designed for those who want the core Google experience, with an approachable footprint and steady hardware improvements over previous models. The Pixel 9 isn’t about wild tech leaps—it focuses on the stuff that matters, like software security and point-and-shoot convenience.

Key features:

Release Date: August 2024
Display: 6.2-inch AMOLED, FHD+ (1080 x 2400 px), up to 120Hz refresh rate
Processor: Google Tensor G4
Camera: Dual rear cameras: 50MP wide + 12MP ultra-wide; advanced computational photography
Operating System: Ships with Android 15 (upgradeable)
Build: Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back
Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 7
Security: Under-display fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock

Who is this for?

The Google Pixel 9 is made for Android fans who want Google’s regular updates, up-to-date security, and straightforward design. Whether you’re a student controlling notifications, a professional relying on Google’s productivity tools, or someone who just likes cameras that “just work,” the Pixel 9 holds its own with mainstream specs and Google’s signature photo editing. If you’re comparing it to the Pixel 9 Pro, know that the Pro model adds an extra camera lens and a bigger display, but for most everyday tasks, the standard Pixel 9 gets it done—without the “Pro” bloat.

Pros & Cons:

Pros	Cons
Guaranteed software updates direct from Google.	No telephoto lens—zoom is mostly digital.
Reliable camera performance in most conditions.	Design might feel familiar if you’re coming from recent Pixels.
Vibrant 120Hz AMOLED display for smooth visuals.	No expandable storage (as usual for Pixels).

Why refurbished?

Choosing a refurbished Google Pixel 9 means less e-waste and a smaller footprint—without settling for last year’s news. Every pre-owned device on Back Market goes through comprehensive quality checks for performance and reliability, eliminating the guesswork from buying used. Learn more about our quality standards.
