This was the first time I’d bought a smartphone from Backmarket. I purchased a Grade B unit with a Grade B battery. The smartphone arrived in excellent condition; I really couldn’t tell it apart from a brand-new one. *No instruction manual or box was included with the device. It did come with a charging cable featuring Type-C connectors at both ends. The packaging stated the battery was at ‘96%’, but having used it after a full charge, it actually feels as though it might be even higher. As I was able to buy such a good product, and the warranty seems to be a generous one year, I’ve added them to my list of potential retailers for future purchases 😊

I bought the 8a in a hurry because my Google 6a, which I had just bought on the Back Market, started consuming battery power faster after the July 2025 software update.I had no problems with the 6a in normal use, so I compared the 7a, 8a and 9a for something as small and light as possible and decided on the 8a I was concerned that it would get too hot. As for my concern about it getting "hot", sometimes I do think so (when I start multiple apps, when I use it for a long time, etc.), but I don't feel the heat if I have the cover on, and I use it thinking that it's a good time to stop using it and rest my eyes.
