The Samsung Galaxy A05 is built to cover your everyday basics with a reliable display, modern design, and straightforward performance. Released in October 2023, it’s a recent addition to Samsung's A-series lineup, offering just what you need for casual tasks, browsing, and social media without fuss. In 2025, it stands out as a simple, practical option among entry-level smartphones.
Key features:- Release Date: October 2023
- Display: 6.7-inch PLS LCD, HD+ (720 x 1600 px) resolution
- Processor: MediaTek Helio G85
- Camera: Dual rear cameras: 50MP main + 2MP depth; 8MP front camera
- Operating System: Ships with Android 13
- Build: Plastic frame and back with glass front
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.3, 4G LTE support
The Galaxy A05 is ideal for students, casual users, or anyone who wants a dependable smartphone for staying connected without distractions. If you need an uncomplicated and recent Android phone for calling, web browsing, and snapping quick photos, this is a straightforward choice. For users who need faster performance or higher display resolution, options like the Galaxy A14 or A24 might be worth considering.
Pros & Cons:| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Large 6.7-inch display for easy reading and browsing. | HD+ resolution feels a little behind in 2025. |
| Recent Android version (13) out of the box. | No 5G support—stays at 4G LTE speeds. |
| Reliable camera setup for quick, everyday photos. | Plastic build isn’t as premium or rugged as pricier models. |
